Dr Harry Myrans joined ICEDS in April 2024 as a Research Officer in the Climate Resilient Food Systems team, studying the effects of salinity on crops grown in the Pacific Islands.

His previous work includes a Research Fellow position and PhD at Monash University, during which he studied the potential of sorghum’s crop wild relatives as resources for crop improvement and the conditions that stimulate toxic cyanide production in sorghum and cassava.
