Courses

Students can choose from a wide range of elective courses on different aspects of climate change, the energy transition, and disaster risk science. These range from economics, law, policy and governance aspects.

There are no other formal prerequisites. However the compulsory foundation courses do require numeracy skills. Candidates with suitable qualifications may request exemption from taking a particular foundation course.

We strongly recommend you contact us for advice when planning your course program.

ANU offers more than 60 undergraduate courses on the multiple dimensions of climate change. They cover climate science, economics, law, policy and governance aspects of climate change vulnerability, adaptation and mitigation. Most of them can be taken as electives.
