Experienced in computer science, biology and plant science, Karim works for the ANU node of the Australian Plant Phenomics Network, where he cares for plants grown in their plant growth facility and performs plant transformations in the lab.

When not in the lab, he enjoys being out in nature, seeing live music and playing football.
