Adrian Sheppard works on a range of problems related to the imaging and characterisation of complex and porous materials, and the modelling of fluid transports.

He is particularly interested in improving the efficiency of  micro-CT imaging through novel reconstruction techniques, in capturing dynamics in 3D using these instruments and in the combination of imaging and modelling to better understand two-phase and chemically reactive flows.

Adrian is primary developer of the Mango software toolkit for 3D image processing and analysis.
