We're hiring - Research Data Analyst

4 March 2019

The Climate Change Institute seeks to contribute to climate change solutions through innovative, interdisciplinary approaches to research and teaching, drawing on the wealth of expertise throughout the University, and to connect our work to governments, the private sector and civil society. We develop research aimed at tackling critical climate change issues through stimulating disciplinary work, initiating and supporting new interdisciplinary approaches, and enhancing adoption pathways, supported by new external funding.
The successful candidate would work with a core team to undertake quantitative analysis of local, regional and global climate trends as well as developing scalable climate projections to support both adaptation and mitigation actions.  The work will also include examining novel approaches to integrating climate information with food systems models and developing software tools to assist in the acquisition, error checking, manipulation and analysis of climate information as well as the development of innovative ways of analysing and presenting complex climate-related data to stakeholders.
