I am a first-year PhD student at the Fenner School of Environment and Society. My supervisory panel members are - Emeritus Professor Howard Bamsey, Dr Edwina-Fingleton-Smith, Dr Carl Tidemann, Dr Aaron Tang. My research area highlights a dire need of environmental sustainability policy for increasing private investment for renewables.

Currently, I am a casual sessional academic (CSA) at the Australian National University (ANU) and working being an education strategic partnership with Blended Learning International (BLI) as South Asia Advisor and Supervisor. I also am a member of ANU Institute for Climate, Energy and Disaster Solutions (ICEDS).

I have worked as a Foreign Registered Lawyer in England and Wales since 2023, besides, over 12 years work experience as an advocate in Bangladesh since 2013 including the Supreme Court of Bangladesh since 2017. Meanwhile, I was privileged to voluntarily assist the international case issued by the Petrobangla and Bapex against the Niko resources (oil and gas explorer and production company) claiming their inefficiency and negligence in Tengratila gas blowout in 2005, which significantly instigated Canada’s first foreign bribery case. I also have a over two decades experience of organizing a countless number of awareness programs including regular seminars, symposiums, campaign, road march, long march etc. in Bangladesh. Alongside, I worked as an academic officer in the Elizabeth School of London and as a State Agent in DC Estate & Lettings Ltd, UK.

Previously, I pursued the graduation programs on Business Studies and Law respectively that helped me acquire knowledge in two most influential and interrelated academic areas. Subsequently, I realized that corporate supremacy vastly influences state policies. The courses enlightened my carrier, enriched my understanding on state mechanisms and corporate responsibility, furthermore, made me enthusiastic towards new academic horizons. Later in 2023, I was privileged to accomplish my master’s program (LLM) in Environmental Law at the University of Dundee. During that time, I developed research skills while extensively studied on climate finance, environmental regulation, Loss and Damage, historical emissions and so on.

I participated and won the Oxford Environmental Research writing competition and joined in a 2-day DTP Workshop at St. Hughes College, University of Oxford in 2023. Besides, I successfully completed an Online Certificate Climate Change Decision-Makers from the University of Cambridge under the course convenor, Professor Jorge E. Vinuales in 2024.
