Dissonance Exhibition - Canberra Museum and Gallery

The quote begins "I often despair at the interminable debate in Australia about the reality of climate change". The quote continues. A video still projected onto a wall in Canberra's city centre shows a black and white image of a coal mine, with clouds superimposed over it.

Ngaio Fitzpatrick, visiting fellow with the Climate Change Institute has an exhibition titled Dissonance currently showing at Canberra Museum and Gallery.

The exhibition includes a soundtrack by ANU composer Alexander Hunter and is showing until 3 October 2020. As the exhibition is in Gallery 4 facing Civic Square with high levels of reflectivity, it has been designed to be viewed after dark with dramatic effect.
