Position Overview
The ANU Climate Change Institute (CCI) is a world leading Centre focused on delivering climate change solutions through innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to research and teaching. It is a highly collaborative Centre, comprising of almost 300 academic staff and postgraduate research students from all seven Colleges of the University, bringing the total complement to approximately 300 researchers. Through this network, the CCI facilitates authoritative climate change research across a range of themes, all of which focus on developing and delivering climate knowledge that support governments, the private sector; and civil society, to respond to the challenges presented by a changing climate.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to play a key role in facilitating the development of productive and high performing networks between ANU researchers in the CCI and with end users. These collaborative networks will aim to facilitate the uptake and impact of research into decision-making processes. These networks will also act as a catalyst for innovative collaborations involving ANU researchers and stakeholders that will help set the research direction of the CCI.
The Knowledge Exchange Specialist will establish themselves as a trusted and influential advisor to diverse groups of domestic and international stakeholders, understanding then seeking to enhance their existing knowledge base and capacity for evidence-based decision-making.
The successful applicant will be expected to develop novel approaches to knowledge exchange that can meet the specific needs of our diverse end-users, and evaluate the effectiveness of these approaches to demonstrate their impact both internally and with these key stakeholder and client groups.
