Assoc. Prof Llewelyn Hughes was interviewed by Bloomberg for its story about the Japanese firm’s decision to follow GE, Samsung C&T in exiting the sector.

Prof Hughes said Toshiba “needs to change strategy to take advantage of growth sectors”, and was “able to make this shift because it is a diversified company, so exiting coal is not existential for them.”
