Professor Mark Howden is Director of the Climate Change Institute at the Australian National University and the highest-ranked Australian on the IPCC, which recently produced a report saying land use is directly responsible for almost a quarter of emissions. He spoke to Eloise Gibson in Canberra about that report, about Aussie farmers' growing acceptance of climate change, and his take on New Zealand’s methane debate.
