Prof Xuemei Bai named as one of the world's 100 most influential people in climate policy

Congratulations to Prof Xuemei Bai, of the Fenner School of Environment & Society, who has been named one of the world's 100 most influential people in climate policy by Apolitical.  Apolitical describes itself as 'a global network for government, helping public servants find the ideas, people and partners they need to solve the hardest challenges facing our societies'.
Prof Bai is Professor of Urban Environment and Human Ecology at ANU, and a world-renowned researcher who has authored or co-authored over 100 papers on climate change and sustainability. She served as a lead author for the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment, the Global Energy Assessment, and is a lead author for the sixth report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. She was elected a Fellow of Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia in 2017, and was the Volvo Environment Prize Laureate in 2018.
