Electricity prices are falling - and will keep doing so - whether or not energy deal is inked
In the not too distant future, when climate disruption has further aggravated Australia's natural see-saw between drought and floods, posterity will likely wonder at the issues that dominated our discourse.
Those in the future will note the Turnbull government in August 2018 was proposing a national energy guarantee supposed to integrate climate policy with the economy "for the first time", and end a decade of "climate wars".
