"In establishing a technology investment roadmap it’s important to put all options on the table and not exclude particular technologies in advance, nor lock in other options," Professor Ken Baldwin told the Australian Science Media Centre.

"It’s also important to have a timely comparison of all technologies, with regular review of developments to evolve decision making.
