The ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions is seeking a Communications Manager who will be an integral part of the core Institute team supporting 500+ ANU researchers. 

The position will play a key role in communicating ANU climate, energy and disaster risk research and, education. Building on the ICEDS media and public profile, the successful applicant will develop, lead and evaluate the ICEDS communications strategy in order to raise the profile of ICEDS research, outreach and education activities. The Communications Manager will develop content for the ICEDS website and social media profiles and will manage a range of outreach activities across the Institute. 

We are looking for someone with tertiary / postgraduate qualifications and experience in communications, engagement, knowledge exchange and/or stakeholder engagement.  Knowledge / experience working on climate change, energy or disaster-risk issues will be highly regarded.  You will be a strong communicator and collaborator with excellent organisational skills and have the ability to effectively self-manage.
