Building Sustainable Cities with Effective Transport

Urban Transformation through Technology: Building Sustainable Cities with Effective Transport

Denmark, together with the other Nordic countries, is at the forefront when it comes to the development of sustainable cities.

In particular, they are aiming to fulfil Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG 11): making their cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.

So decision makers, city planners, researchers, students and interested citizens caring for the development of our cities will find their experiences well worth listening to.

Come and hear the Danish ambassador Tom Nørring’s thoughts on urban transformation the Danish way – and also get to understand why he is so happy about his new apartment, centrally located in wonderful Copenhagen and with a fantastic view of….well, a power station?

A light lunch will be provided from 1.30-2pm with the seminar starting at 2pm, followed by audience Q&A.

Please note that it is very difficult to find parking at ANU at this time of day - we strongly advise using public transport, taxi, cycling or walking rather than driving. If you have to drive, allow plenty of time to find a park and log into the online parking system which can be downloaded here.View visitor parking map
