Hannah Feldman

PhD Scholar
Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science

Hannah Feldman is a PhD candidate in science communication and sessional academic at the Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science at the ANU.

With an astronomy past, a science communication future, and a whole lot of high school outreach in the middle, her research explores the political expression of young people and their engagement with scientific issues. Specifically, Hannah’s current projects are investigating how and why teenagers end up forming events such as #climatestrike, and what happens when politicians tell them to “go back to school”.

Ever walking the line between Researcher and Practitioner of science communication, Hannah also presents workshops and tutorials for students of CPAS whenever she gets the chance to engage an audience.
