Tanja's research focusses on the role of educational experiences in empowering young people to take meaningful climate action. It also explores whether such experiences support sustained emotional wellbeing in young people, who face a life course marked by climate-induced uncertainty.

Tanja has previously worked in policy positions at the Murray-Darling Basin Authority and Australian Fisheries Management Authority. She also held a corporate role at CSIRO evaluating the social, economic and environmental impacts of research programs.

Tanja currently works in the Executive Education team at the ANU Institute for Climate, Energy and Disaster Solutions.
