Morrison is well behind in the climate game

The fundamental problem with Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s glacial progress towards announcing a 2050 zero carbon emissions target is that he is wasting energy on yesterday’s climate-change game.

His staunch defence of Australia’s poor progress in cutting carbon emissions in a speech to the Business Council of Australia on Monday night revealed that he was not aware of how the world had dramatically changed its carbon-reduction horizon.
