Associate Professor Burke Paul Burke spoke to ABC News for its story about legal action to try stopping the Adani coal mine in nothern Queensland.

He concluded that up to half of the coal from the Adani mine would add to, rather than supplant, supply from other mines and that it would also displace lower emissions energy sources such as gas and renewables.
