Short course: Energy literacy for professionals
3 September 2018
The ANU Energy Change Institute (ECI) is hosting a one-day short course on energy literacy for professionals looking to keep up-to-date with advances in energy technologies.
The course will be tailored for professionals with a technology, policy, business or economics background and will focus on energy generation, transformation and storage.
"In response to many enquiries the ECI will be hosting a one-day course on energy literacy,” said Dr Igor Skryabin, course convenor. “The materials and lectures are aimed at attendees who may have some general understanding of the science behind these technologies, but don’t have direct experience or training in technologies for energy generation, transformation and storage.”
The course will cover:
- Energy technology and efficiency fundamentals
- Interplay between technologies, their grid integration and policy development
- Energy Futures – an outlook on future energy systems and their transformation both in Australia and internationally.

The full-day course will be held at the Australian National University on 13 November 2018. Registration via Eventbrite is essential.
