ECI shifts to online operations

6 April 2020

It’s business as usual for the ANU Energy Change Institute, albeit as best we can while we’re all working remotely during the COVID19-induced campus shutdown.

Like so much of Australia, we in the Institute will be operating differently in the coming few months.

Our research projects continue off-campus, and we’ve shifted our gatherings and workshops to Zoom meetings – a new environment for many of us.

Researchers in the ANU Grand Challenge Zero-Carbon for the Asia-Pacific are also busy working remotely on various aspects of their transformational project.

Our monthly e-newsletter produced in collaboration with our sister entity, the ANU Climate Change Institute, continues as usual.

The ECI will also continue to deliver Public Seminars as well as our quarterly “Energy Conversations” (joint with the Australian Institute of Energy).

The first Public Seminar will be the presentation re-scheduled for 15 April on “Variable Generation, Flexible Demand: California's experience” by Dr Fereidoon Sioshansi, President of Menlo Energy Economics. We invite you to join us from 12pm AEDT.
