Prospering in a low-emissions world: preparing Australia for the future

With the effects of climate change being felt in many parts of the world, the case for strong global action has never been more pressing. Whilst current global commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions are not yet enough to limit warming to 2°C, global action is growing and the shift to a low-emissions economy has begun.

Australia has a valuable chance to prosper in this low-emissions world, if we take advantage of the opportunities being presented and plan for the future. In their recently released report Prospering in a low-emissions world, the Climate Change Authority outlines how Australia can succeed whilst accelerating climate action, lowering our emissions, and empowering individuals and communities to act.

Join us in this webinar to hear Brad Archer, Chief Executive Officer at the Climate Change Authority, presenting the key findings and recommendations of the report. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session with Professor Mark Howden, with an opportunity for questions from the audience.

You will be emailed the URL to access the webinar upon registering.
