Natali Heil Koerbel

Natali joined ICEDS in early 2022 to support Professor Mark Howden and the climate program as a Program Administrator/Executive Assistant.

She holds a Master of Climate Change, a Bachelor in International Relations and a Bachelor of Commerce (International Business), and has a particular interest in sustainable cities and urban systems transformation.

Before joining ICEDS, Natali held roles at the ANU Residential Experience, where she oversaw and supported student leadership teams and assisted with incident management at residential halls. During her undergraduate studies, she also interned with the ACT Government’s Environment, Planning, and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD), working on a project involving the planning and establishment of employee networks.

Natali grew up in Southern Brazil and Germany, before moving to Canberra in 2017. Outside of work, she enjoys activities like running, cycling, and kayaking, often with a map and compass in hand.
