Laura (Yi-Wen) is a highly motivated professional with a strong background in economics and finance. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance and Economics from National Chung-Hsing University in Taiwan. Her extensive work experiences in investment banking, venture capital, and private banking, showcasing her adaptability and proficiency in different environments. Laura is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®- Level I) Certified professional and is multilingual in English, Mandarin, and Japanese(JLPT N1).

Currently pursuing a Master's of Environment(Advanced) at the Australian National University, Laura is deeply committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. She is working as an Economic Research Officer in Nature-based Solutions at the Institute for Climate, Energy, and Disaster Solutions (ICEDS) at the Australian National University and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).

With a passion for addressing contemporary environmental challenges, her dedication to leveraging her skills and experiences to drive positive change underscores her commitment to making a meaningful impact in the realm of environmental solutions and economic sustainability.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Laura obtained her certificate of open water scuba diver at Great Barrier Reef, and certificate of RYT500® Yoga teacher from India/Bali, reflecting her passion for the environment and personal growth.
