Dr Mona Mahani

Research Data Analyst, ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions

Dr Mona Mahani is a Research Data Analyst with the ANU Climate Change Institute.  Her work involves examining the scale of climate change related impacts for Australian agricultural producers and food manufacturing companies and exploring the intersection between climate change adaptation and prospective policy development.

Mona completed her MSc and PhD in the field of atmospheric science at Tohoku University, Japan. She gained experience as a technical researcher and data analyst at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Japan. She is mainly interested in applying data analysis and statistical modelling tools to explore how changes in climate and chemistry of the atmosphere- infused by anthropogenic intrusions- would contribute to adverse impacts on our environment.
