Indigenous Engagement with Renewable Energy Industries program
This program focuses on First Nations benefit in the transition to low and zero emissions technologies in Northern Australia.
Image
Indigenous people in Australia's North West stand to gain much from the development of renewable energy on their traditional lands, but only if the necessary policy and financial scaffolding is in place. Ensuring multi-generational benefit will require strategic collaboration across industry, government and Indigenous groups informed by international best practice.
