We facilitate integrated approaches to research, teaching and policy engagement across disciplines. We are also connected to the Environmental Sustainability team in research, teaching and engagement. ANU Environmental Sustainability plays a key role in supporting the University’s commitment to sustainability. 

ANU colleagues involved in climate, energy or disaster solutions are warmly encouraged to join ICEDS.

The Institute represents close to 600 climate, energy and disaster-risk related researchers across ANU, including academics, visiting fellows / honorary roles and PhD students. Our team comprises over 15 professional staff members, including three additional research roles supported by funding external to ANU.
