The ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions (ICEDS) professional short course program brings decision-makers and practitioners together with ANU researchers to explore the latest developments in climate science, the energy transition and disaster-risk reduction through real-world scenarios.

Our courses examine the social, environmental and economic dimensions of climate change, energy transition, disaster preparedness and response. They are designed to help policymakers and practitioners understand emerging challenges, identify practical opportunities and strengthen decision-making across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

Flexible course delivery

ICEDS offers standard, tailored and private short courses delivered online, in person or in a hybrid format.

Our established short course model is regularly offered to individual participants through scheduled public programs. We can also tailor existing courses or develop private programs to meet the specific needs of your organisation.

Private and tailored courses may include specialised topics, engagement with industry and policymakers, or delivery scheduled to align with your team’s work program.
