The Australian Energy Emissions Monitor is a comprehensive analysis of the latest data on Australia’s energy related carbon dioxide emissions. The report is published by the ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions on a bi-monthly basis, commencing in December 2021. It is produced by Dr Hugh Saddler.

This issue includes a factorisation of emissions reductions since 2008, which shows that two thirds of the reductions are due to the change in the generation mix on the grid, mostly substituting coal fired power with wind and solar power.
