About
I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Research School of Chemistry, Australian National University (ANU).
I completed my Ph.D. at ANU, where my thesis focused on Nanostructured BaTiO3 Thin Films for Enhanced Photoresponse. Prior to this, I obtained both my M.S. and B.S. degrees from Northwestern Polytechnical University.
My research centers on the growth, characterization, and application of functional oxide thin films and nanostructures. During my academic career, I have developed extensive expertise in the fabrication of metal oxide films on silicon substrates using pulsed laser deposition (PLD), as well as in the multiscale characterization of their structural, electrical, optical, and ferroelectric properties.
I am particularly interested in translating fundamental materials research into practical technologies that can benefit society. My work has explored the application of ferroelectric materials in optoelectronic devices, which hold significant promise for emerging fields such as quantum computing, communication, and remote sensing. Owing to their intrinsic polarization, these devices can operate without an external power supply, offering opportunities to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
