Professor Frank Jotzo

Frank Jotzo is Professor of environmental and climate change economics at the ANU Crawford School of Public Policy, and director of the Centre for Climate and Energy Policy.

Prof Jotzo has been a lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 5th and 6th assessement reports. He has been involved in numerous policy advisory exercises including currently as member of the NSW Net Zero Commission. He led Australia's Carbon Leakage Review as an advisor to government, was a key advisor to the Garnaut Climate Change Review, and served on various policy advisory boards and committees for State governments. 

He leads research on decarbonisation, zero-emissions industries, institutions and policy for energy transition, economic policy instruments for climate change, and international dimensions of climate change policy.

Prof Jotzo teaches Masters courses on climate policy and economics at ANU Crawford School.
