It focuses on sustainable development, emergency management, and climate adaptation across Australia, the Asia-Pacific, and beyond.

Law, governance and institutions (LGI) produce, direct, and are disrupted and reshaped by climate change, energy supply chains, and disaster risk, response and recovery.  This is an interdisciplinary cluster that explores the complexity of norms, rules, practices, and institutions inherent to climate change responses, energy system transitions and disaster solutions in Australia, the Asia-Pacific and further afield. Its work engages with the normative and institutional dimensions of sustainable development, emergency management, and climate adaptation.
