Clare has a wealth of sustainability, stakeholder engagement, communications and general / program management experience across a range of sectors in the UK, Asia and Australia. For the past ten years, she has applied her skills to advancing solutions to environmental and societal challenges within the university and renewable energy sectors.
As Institute Manager of ICEDS, she is responsible for leading operations of the ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions. She also works to advance decarbonisation of the University via the ANU Below Zero itiative. Prior to that she managed communications for the ANU Climate Change Institute and ANU Energy Change Institute. She has a particular interest in how we can effectively communicate about climate change to generate urgent, transformative action at institutional, community and individual levels.
She has a Master of Environmental Management from UNSW and an undergraduate degree in History from Cambridge University.
