About
Keira is a PhD student in the School of Culture, History & Language at the Australian National University. I am currently working on a diachronic typology of person marking in Barrier Islands languages. She completed my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at ANU in 2022. Her research was on nominal number and gender in Kufo, a Kadu language traditionally spoken in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan.

Research interests
Keira is broadly interested in morphology and morphological complexity, particularly to do with systems of nominal classification and grammatical voice. She is also interested in corpus-based and diachronic typological studies of language and do traditional descriptive linguistics working on under-resourced languages of Indonesia and Sudan.
