Research Fellow/ Fellow, Transformational Climate Adaptation & Water - applications now open
ICEDS and IWF are seeking to coordinate and generate research focusing on transformational climate adaptation relating to water. The Research Fellow/ Fellow will undertake independent research on transformational climate adaptations related to water use, availability, decision-making, management and institutions including developing and testing theories of transformative change and identifying transformative, innovative and robust strategies.
The Research Fellow/ Fellow will play a critical role in the success and ongoing work of both Institutes and will report to the Institute Directors. In this role you will undertake research independently and collaboratively, generate traditional and non-traditional research outputs, teach into water / climate related courses and have the opportunity to develop your research career.
To excel in this role, you will have A PhD in the social sciences or other domain related to transformational change, with a track record of independent research in the field of climate adaptation, climate risk management or environment-society interactions as it relates to the water sector. You will demonstrate the ability to articulate and prosecute innovative research in the field of climate adaptation inclusive of identifying transformative, innovative and robust strategies and a vision for the activities you would undertake at ANU.
