Communications and Events Officer - applications now open

Climate change, energy change and disasters are crucial and growing issues for Australia and our region. The ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions (ICEDS) is working to advance solutions to maintain and improve the livelihoods, health, environment and prosperity of Australians, addressing three of Australia’s major challenges.

ICEDS is currently seeking a Communications and Events Officer to coordinate the implementation of communication strategies for the Institute, including via digital and social media. The successful applicant will develop, manage, evaluate and promote an annual schedule of events, coordinate engaging content-driven social media and digital marketing campaigns as well as taking responsibility for the ICEDS website.

To excel in this role, you will have undergraduate qualifications (or progress towards them) and experience in communications, marketing and / or events management.  You will be a strong communicator and collaborator with excellent organisational and interpersonal.
