About
Yan joined the ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions in March 2023 and is the Executive Education Operations Lead. In this role, she supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of ICEDS’ professional short-course and executive education portfolio, working across course operations, stakeholder liaison, participant engagement, delivery planning, reporting, risk management, process improvement, and evaluation.
Yan has extensive experience in higher education administration, international partnerships, transnational education and executive education operations. Before joining ICEDS, she worked at the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific as a Partnership and Agreement Officer, supporting college-wide partnership and agreement processes. She also worked as Senior School Administrator at the ANU School of Cybernetics, where she helped establish local systems and operational processes for a newly launched school.
Before joining ANU, Yan spent more than 10 years at the University of Canberra, including as Coordinator of Transnational Programs in the Faculty of Business, Government and Law. In this role, she supported international and transnational education programs across China, Bhutan, Hong Kong and Singapore, working closely with academic teams, overseas partners, students and alumni.
Yan holds a Master of Management – Project Management from The Australian National University, a Master of Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Canberra.
Outside of work, Yan is busy supporting her two sons’ co-curricular activities and enjoys learning and growing alongside them.
