About

Anna Lloyd is a PhD Candidate at the Australian National University (School of Engineering) researching industrial-scale solar PV end-of-life systems in Australia.

Her doctoral work explores the systemic management, logistics, economic, and policy failures that prevent recovered materials from re-entering the renewable energy supply chain at production-grade purity.

Applying a systems engineering analytical frame across remote and regional contexts, her research models the economics of decentralised recovery infrastructure and projects the long-term consequences of continued loop failure across material, community, infrastructure, and waste dimensions.
