Dr Tim Green has a background in plant physiology and pathology. He previously worked as a cotton pathologist for the NSW DPI and has just completed his PhD in developing novel wheat ideotypes for a changing Australian climate. He is currently working as Industry Liaison Officer with ANU Agrifood Innovation Institute, working toward building connections that enable agricultural research.

Research interests

  • Crisis and disaster management, including environmental disasters and economic and political tension
  • Just policies and equitable stakeholder participation
  • Social organisation, including kinship, citizenship and social capital
  • Geographic focus: Europe and Australia
