About
Yuhao is a Research Fellow at Research School of Earch Sciences.
His main research field is paleoceanography and paleoclimatology.
He is interested in how physical, chemical and biological processes affected climate in the geological past. Yuhao measures chemistry of fossils found in marine sediments to infer different seawater properties in the past. His current work focus on how the ocean and climate interacted during past warm periods. This research would unveil how the ocean and climate could behave in the warmer future.
Yuhao obtained his PhD in Earth Sciences at ANU in 2018. He was a postdoc researcher at Lund University, Sweden before joining ANU in 2023.
