Dr Chunguang Tang

Research Fellow, ZCEAP Grand Challenge
ANU College of Science

Dr. Chunguang Tang obtained his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut, where he performed first principles studies on point defects in high dielectric constant metal oxide (HfO2). After that he worked as a postdoc in the University of Sydney and CSIRO, studying crystallization behaviour of Cu-Zr alloys and surface catalycity of ZnO based on computations. Before joining ANU, he was a DECRA fellow at UNSW studying structure and properties of amorphous Cu-Zr and Zr-Co-Al alloys. At ANU his research interests include exploring potential liquid organic hydrogen carriers and related topics based on theory and experiment.
