Tom White is a research fellow in the Centre for Sustainable Energy Systems, ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science. He received a PhD in physics from the University of Sydney in 2006, and then spent three years as a research fellow at the University of St Andrews, UK. He is a member of the nanophotonics group in CSES, working on photonic and plasmonic light trapping methods for thin-film solar cells.
