Paul Burke is an Associate Professor in the Australian National University’s Crawford School of Public Policy, and Head of the School's Arndt-Corden Department of Economics. 

He is also convenor of the Renewable Energy Policy and Governance in Asia-Pacific countries project in the ANU Grand Challenge: Zero-Carbon Energy for the Asia-Pacific.

Paul’s research focuses on energy, the environment, transport, and the economies of the Asia-Pacific. He is currently carrying out research on approaches to transition to zero-carbon energy in the Asia-Pacific.

He holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics (Honours I) from the University of Sydney and a PhD in Economics from The Australian National University.
