Getting to our events

As it can be hard to find parking at ANU, we recommend you use active transport options - walk, cycle, take public transport, or rideshare where possible.

We are trying to minimise the environmental impact of university-related travel, reduce the number of vehicles travelling to campus and promote sustainable transport options.

The ANU boasts many event venues - we encourage you to check the event details carefully to ensure you arrive at the right place!

Buses

• For bus services coming from Belconnen, get off at ANU Rimmer St and walk north-west along Kingsley Road - a 6 minute walk.
• For bus services arriving in Civic, get off at City West Interchange Bay 1 and walk north-west along University Avenue - a 6 minute walk.

Light rail

• Get off at Alinga Street station and walk west along Alinga Street toward University Avenue - an 11 minute walk.

Parking

• ANU Campus parking restrictions apply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Permit, Pay As You Go, Pay & Display (ticket) and time-limited zones are in force from 8am–5pm Monday to Friday. Public holidays are excepted. Information on Parking options is available here.
